Mofi’s strongest background lies on the long-time experience of its Executive Director (Dr. Martin Owako, (PhD)) who went through Diageo Sales Career Framework (SCF) for 14 years and specialized in sales capability development. His career continued in the same line for 3 years in Smile Communications and later as Head of Sales and Marketing at Devon Dalyn Ltd.
The company has continued building its capacity and capability in the areas of research, data management, report writing, thesis supervision, strategic management, sales automation systems, targeted territory selling, branding and many other tailored courses and marketing solution tools that address clients’ challenges.

- In February 2015, Uganda Breweries Limited contracted Mofi Uganda Ltd to assess, recruit, train and coach a team of 85 Van Sales Men (VSM) in Kampala division (Kampala central business district, Wakiso, Mpigi, Luwero, Mityana and Mukono). This was a team of persons who were responsible for direct distribution of UBL products in Kampala division. Martin is a well experienced strategic business leader with over 25 years of successful work in organizational improvement across multiple sectors. Martin’s engagements in sales and marketing functions resulted in gaining commercial experience in: selling space, perishable fish fillets for exports, beverages (FMCGs), automobiles, telecommunications, hospitality, NGOs and Higher Institutions of learning. Having completed a PhD majoring in strategic innovation and organizational performance, Martin has acquired superior capabilities in strategic innovation, capability development and supervision of research projects.
Martin is currently engaged in supporting start-up businesses and NGOs in Uganda and has supervised 15 Master’s degrees and guided 4 PhD students on research proposal, data management and thesis development. This specific experience was gained at Center for International Studies (CIS) and Mofi Skills & Research Center, the former agencies for the Global Business University (BVI). Today, Martin is one of the agents for UNICAF University in Uganda.
Additionally, Martin is gifted with the art of leading strategic planning processes/meetings, innovative training skills, coaching, and mentoring of sales teams leading to great performance. Prof. Alloysius Augustine Ogbe (PhD), simply called Prof. Austin – (Born July 18th, 1977) is a Nigerian Expatriate, a Senior Management Consultant at MOFI UGANDA LTD (MOFI SKILLS & RESEARCH CENTER) in Kampala, Uganda. He was a visiting Professor and Consultant at the Ruhengeri Institute of Higher Education (INES-Ruhengeri) in Rwanda. He was a Full Professor in Business Administration & Management at the University of Kigali, Rwanda. Also, a Professor of Research in Entrepreneurship Development at Global Institute of Allied Psychology, Health and HIV/STIs Management (GIAPHAM) LTD, Kampala, Uganda. He was an Expatriate & Assistant Professor of Management at the prestigious Kampala International University (KIU) and an Associate Consultant at the prestigious Uganda Management Institute (UMI), Kampala, Uganda. He is a Technocrat, Prolific Analyst, Managing-Editor, Entrepreneur, Management Consultant, Motivational Speaker and International Businessman. Kasenge Martin a PhD Candidate (Business Administration) who equally holds an MBA (Finance) from Uganda Martyrs University and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Makerere University Kampala. He also holds a PGD (Financial Management) from Uganda Management Institute and has over 14 years hands-on experience in research, finance, banking, training/teaching and project management. Martin is currently a Lecturer of Accounting and Finance at Uganda Martyrs University and also a researcher conducting market surveys, baseline surveys, and impact assessments for a number of firms in Uganda. Martin has extensive financial modeling skills, project documentation skills, presentation skills, data management, communication ability, relationship management, leadership and interpersonal skills.
TOM WABWIE – PROFFESSIONAL PROFILE
Tom Wabwire, a graduate of Chemical and Software application Engineering is sales professional with outstanding performance, covering an experience record of over 25 years in field sales management, having worked at various FMCG companies in Uganda, including EABL in the region. This exposure is now combined with laboratory workflow sales automation application specialization and training gained while in India in 2014 and 2015.
Tom supports the sales process automation projects in any stage by acting as a concept champion, supports the implementation of automation with customers throughout the sales territories in close cooperation with the application suppliers, consultants, the local client manager teams, Area Sales Managers and their distributors.

Jared holds an MBA degree specializing in Strategic planning of Herriot Watt University, Scotland and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Paul has acquired over 16 years of balanced experience in senior management.
